Event Introduction

7:15 PM

The event will begin with our MC introducing the purpose event and how it was possible.  The audience will be introduced to the judges.  Finally, the MC will quickly review the rules for the contestants.

Pre-Registered Pitch Presentations

7:30PM

Students who have registered to pitch prior to the event will begin pitching their ideas (order of presentation will be provided to individuals pitching as they enter the commons).  No question time immediately following pitch.  All Presenters will be cut off when the timer hits 0 and will not be permitted to run over time.

Pop-up Pitch Presentations

8:00 PM

After registered presenters are finished, if time permits the MC will ask if any additional audience members would like to pitch an idea.  Pop-ups will still be considered in the final judging.

Q&A with Judges

8:10 PM

At this time, all presenters will line up on stage in order of their pitch slots.  The judges will collectively be given an opportunity to ask one question to each contestant.  The contestant will then be

Judge Deliberation

8:30 PM - 8:45 PM

Judges will gather and discuss the pitches.  During this time they will decide the winner.  The audience will also submit votes for their favorite pitch at this time which will be counted and scored for the audience choice winner.

Winners Announced

8:45 PM

The judges choice and audience choice winners will be announced and presented with their checks.
